MINIMALIST-MAXIMALIST | tibi denali skirt
I’m typically a minimalist in the way that I dress. I like items that are easy to wear all day in the studio and come in grey or black. This Tibi Denali Skirt caught my eye, though. The blue and black pattern made it a special and unique piece that would still fit in with my current wardrobe. I took this out to the desert to juxtapose the maximalist design of the skirt against the muted tones and shapes of this landscape.
Skirt | Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this exact skirt to link to anymore, but here are a few other skirts from Tibi that are equally cool. This one has really unique, muted color blocking (and I maybe like it even more!). I’m dying over this skirt and its asymmetry.
Top | Simple fitted sleeveless sweater top that is super thin and great for tucking into higher-waisted items.
Earrings | I’ve never been much of a tassel earrings person, but I love these hoop earrings from Oscar de la Renta! I think the raffia material gives them an updated feel, and the beadwork around the hoop is so special feeling.
Booties | The least practical shoes for a desert setting, but would be perfect with this skirt in normal circumstances.
